Codes & Standards for design services:    


In order to serve global customers, Venvel Thermal & Mechanical Designers follow internationally accepted codes & standards for designing the equipment’s. Some of the codes we follow are ASME, NB, TEMA, PD, IS, API etc.,




ASME (American Society for Mechanical Engineers) codes are universally accepted standards from Boilers to Nuclear Vessels. Most commonly, we use following code of edition 2010 with latest Addenda 2011.

Venvel Thermal & Mechanical Designers, do Mechanical Design of Heat Exchangers as per both TEMA (Tubular Exchangers Manufacturers Association) and ASME, thereby ensuring the safety of the heat exchangers & assured with global practice.




Venvel Thermal & Mechanical Designers, design pressure vessels as per Pressure Vessel Directives (PD), which are equivalent to ASME used by British Engineering Industries. We are expertise in designing vessel as per PD Standards by designing vessels for U.K and other related projects.




We, design Pressure vessels as per Indian Standard (IS 2825) with all applicable Indian reference standards like IS 2002, IS 4539 etc. for CCOE (Chief controller of Explosives) approvals with SMPV rules.




Venvel Thermal & Mechanical Designers are well versed with design of Pressure Vessel as per American Petroleum Institute (API) codes for mobile equipment’s, Storage tanks, Safety valves for Petroleum and other related industries.
